Conductivity Liquid Level Switch Electronics Intrinsically Safe Relay Versions Available | LVC700 Series

  • Compatible with LVC-E series conductivity electrodes
  • LVC710 features a 1 amp relay
  • LVC750 features a .3 amp solid state relay

Description

The LVC700 Series conductivity switch electronics are intended for use with OMEGA LVC-E Series electrodes and LVC-S, LVC-N, and LVC-F Series mounting assemblies. They are available in three basic series. The LVC750 series models feature a 0.3 amp solid-state switched output with the following hazardous area classifications: FM-approved intrinsically safe for Class I, Division 1, Groups A, B, C, D and Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F, and G. The LVC750 series relays can also be used with other non-powered, strictly mechanical relay closures to provide intrinsic safety in hazardous areas. The LVC710 features a 1 amp electromechanical switched output for non-hazardous locations, bracket mounted with the bracket maintained at ground potential. The protective cover (supplied) must be in place over the screw terminal connections after wiring has been completed. The LVC710 and LVC750 are sealed in a blue polysulfone case.

Note: Note: Always treat hazardous areas with respect. Intrinsically safe relays must be installed by experienced personnel familiar with intrinsic safety wiring, and installation must be in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). The relay must be mounted in a non-hazardous location, intrinsically safe wiring must be separated from non-intrinsically safe wiring, and the capacitance and inductance limitations of your copper wire run must not exceed the specifications listed in the current installation manual. Consult your local electrical code inspector for further details.
Comes with complete operator's manual. *Non-latching. Pump-up/pump-down units can be used for high or low latching alarm when used with an external reset switch.
